What is the lead time for windows & doors?
Our current lead time for window and doors online orders is 3-5 weeks. Lead times may vary depending on products, size and location.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes, you are welcome to pick up your order from our Chinderah or Baringa locations. The cost to pick up your order is $5.
What areas do you deliver to?
Our in-house courier service delivers from Sydney GMA & Coffs Harbour to Bundaberg, including the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Northern Rivers. For these locations the shipping cost will be priced during the checkout process.
For delivery outside this area, we can provide a courier quote. For a courier quote please inquire via our live chat or via email on orders@windowanddoorsupplies.com.au . Please note that we require details and quantities of which windows & doors you require to provide a courier quote.
Can I return my order for a refund?
We offer a 15 day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return. As our windows & doors are usually made to order, only defected items will be accepted as returns. For more information see our Refund Policy here.
What do I do if my order is lost/damaged?
If you do not receive your delivery or your products are damaged, please contact us immediately on orders@windowanddoorsupplies.com.au .

What types of windows & doors do you offer?
We offer a wide range of windows & doors, including louvre windows, double-hung windows, sliding windows, gas strut servery windows, fixed frame windows and awning windows, as well as stacking and sliding doors and hinge doors. All our window & door frames are made of eco-friendly aluminium.
Can I order custom glass, sizes, colours?
Yes, we are window and door suppliers capable of fulfilling custom sizes, colours and items. Please keep in mind custom orders come with longer lead time and are quoted separately. We can only supply these items to the Ballina to Sunshine Coast region in NSW/QLD.

Are your products manufactured in Australia?
Yes, our windows & doors are manufactured in Australia. We take pride in being high quality window and door suppliers & manufacturers.
How long will it take to manufacture my products?

What glass options do you offer?
Clear Glass: This is standard clear glass, offering unobstructed visibility.
Grey Tint: Tinted glass absorbs the sun’s direct heat energy, similar to how a dark shirt absorbs warmth. It uses re-radiation and convection to dissipate heat, enhancing your window's energy rating.
Double Glazed: Double glazed sliding doors & windows feature two glass panes with a gas-filled gap in between. This design improves insulation, energy efficiency, and reduces noise and condensation.
Satinlite: Satinlite glass has an obscure appearance for privacy while allowing daylight to enter.
Low-E: Low Emissivity (Low-E) glass reduces radiation transfer, creating an invisible insulation barrier that minimizes heat or cold movement through your window. We use SolTech neutral for our Low-E glass.
Are your products energy efficient?
Unlike many aluminium window and door suppliers, the Carinya range has been designed for all major forms of eco-friendly glazing options without any alteration to the frame or any unsightly add-ons. We can provide further information on energy-efficient options to help you reduce heating and cooling costs.
Do you sell fly screens?
Yes, we offer fly screens compatible with various window and door sizes, including our sliding aluminium windows & doors.
What is Invisi-Gard?
Invisi-Gard is the premium security screen solution by Alspec — an Australian owned, market leader for over 45 years. Invisi-Gard security screens consist of high tensile 316 marine grade stainless steel mesh which sets the world standard in terms of its quality, precision and longevity.
What are louvre windows?
A louvre window features adjustable horizontal slats that can be angled to open or close allowing you to control airflow and natural light, offering versatility in ventilation and light. Louvre windows are both a practical and stylish addition to your home.
What are double hung windows?
Double hung windows consist of two sashes that slide vertically, allowing
for versatile ventilation options. These are a timeless window option and
are suitable for a variety of spaces where airflow and ease of cleaning are
priorities.
What are sliding windows?
Sliding windows glide horizontally along tracks, offering effortless
operation and maximizing space efficiency. Sliding windows consist of both fixed and sliding sashes, the sliding gliding over the fixed sash to open.
What are gas strut windows?
Gas strut windows use hydraulic struts to support and hold the window open at various angles. They offer smooth operation and stability, allowing for easy adjustment of the window position.
What are sliding stacker windows?
Sliding stacker windows feature multiple panels that slide smoothly on
tracks designed to seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor spaces. Unlike
traditional sliding windows, sliding stacker windows have sliding
screens which open to create a continuous connection between spaces.
What are awning windows?
Awning windows are hinged at the top and open outward from the bottom,
providing ventilation while shielding the interior from rain. They are ideal
for areas where airflow is desired while also providing protection during
light showers.
What is a fixed window?
Fixed windows are fixed in a frame, meaning they do not open or move. Fixed frame windows are designed to provide light and visual appeal and are ideal for spaces that do not require additional airflow.
What is a sliding door?
Sliding doors consist of panels that move horizontally on tracks, enabling smooth, effortless operation. Sliding doors create seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces and are great to conserve space and maximise views.
What is a jamb?
A jamb in windows & doors is the vertical part of the frame that supports and holds the window or door in place within the wall opening. Jambs provide stability and security for windows & doors.
What is a reveal?
A reveal on windows & doors refers to the timber surround of the window or door frame where it meets the wall. The reveal becomes the internal frame of your window otherwise known as the 'window sill' or door covering the stud. The size of the reveal will vary depending on wall thickness.
What is a sash?
A sash is a part of a window that surrounds the glass within the frame. In opening windows, moving sashes will be able to be moved such as sliding sideways or vertically.
Do you manufacture skylights?
No, we currently do not manufacture skylights.
Do you manufacture curved windows?
No, we do not offer curved windows currently.
Do you make timber windows?
No, we are only an aluminium framed window supplier.

Do you offer financing options on windows & doors?
No, but we do allow split payments on request on orders over $10,000. This is subject to approval. Please speak with our team for more information on this.
How long is a quote valid for?
Our quotes are valid for 30 days, giving you time to consider before ordering your windows & doors online.
Can I make changes to my order?
Yes, however, due to fast lead times there may be costs associated with making changes to your order. If you do need to modify your order for any windows & doors, please contact us as soon as possible on 02 5631 1755.

Do you offer measuring services?
No, you will need to provide your house plan measurements. If you do not have these, you will need to have your windows & doors accurately measured by a builder to receive a quote.

How do I care for my windows & doors?
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity of your windows & doors. We recommend cleaning your glass with a few drops of methylated spirits and a damp soft cloth.
